May 22 - Soup's On! [Ashcroft]

Serving guests on Fridays from 11am to 1pm at St Alban's Anglican Church Hall, 501 Brink Street, Ashcroft. Guests receive a bag with a bun, fresh fruit, and some cookies along with a voucher from a local restaurant for lunch. We have two restaurants that have remained open for take-out meals and the guest has the option to choose whoever one they want for the day. 

 

May 21 - Canadian Mental Health Association Kamloops

Though our offices are currently closed, we are available by phone, text, and email. 250-374-0440  www.kamloops.cmha.bc.ca. Shelter and Housing services continue to operate. FCC applications and 2019 personal income taxes currently accepted and processed. May 21 - Kamloops & District BC SPCA

The Kamloops SPCA Branch continues to operate and run during Covid though we have made some changes for the safety of the public and our staff and volunteers. Our doors are not open to the public at this time but people are able to come by on appointment for an approved adoption, emergency, scheduled and approved surrender or compassionate care board or drop off of donations. We will be doing our best to accommodate compassionate boarding and foster requests especially during Covid, flooding ad wild fire season. Our Humane Education Programs have been moved online and are being offered to the school district in online accessible formats.

May 10 - A Way Home

Kamloops Youth Housing First Wrapforce: coordinated community housing and supports for at risk of or homeless youth. May 9 - PIT Stop

PIT Stop is a free hot meal service available every Sunday afternoon (currently in take away fashion only) at 3:30 in the lane behind the Kamloops United Church, 421 St. Paul Street, between the church and YMCA.

 

May 8 - Kamloops Sexual Assault Counselling Centre [KSACC]

KSACC office hours Monday to Friday 8:30 – 4:30. Open for telephone counselling and support for survivors of sexual violence and domestic violence. Our office contact number is 250-372-0179.     //////     DV/SART support phone line: provides emotional support and resource referral for community members who are recent survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Available 24/7 at 1-888-974-7278.

Currently closed, but office is normally staffed Monday to Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm!
